Dr. Joshua Ledbetter, DC started practicing in Wesley Chapel in 2012 after receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, GA. After years of suffering from sports injuries and headaches, Dr. Josh’s wife convinced him to visit a chiropractor dedicated to family wellness. With regular adjustments and modification of his daily activities, he not only found relief from his headaches and pain, but also experienced a dramatic improvement in his overall quality of life. After his “aha moment” of discovering what chiropractic care is truly about, his chiropractor encouraged him to pursue the profession.
Dr. Josh opened Ledbetter Chiropractic LLC in 2019, serving the Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills communities with a focus on chiropractic care and nutrition for families, children, pregnant moms, and babies. As his vision grew, so did the practice. Today, Ledbetter Mind + Body Restoration in Dade City offers a comprehensive approach to natural healthcare through chiropractic, functional rehabilitation, laser therapy, body sculpting, TMS therapy for mental health, pelvic floor strengthening, TMJ therapy, facial toning, and clinical nutrition support.
Dr. Josh’s passion has always been to help patients achieve a higher quality of life—not merely to relieve pain or illness, but to restore the body to its fullest potential. By combining hands-on chiropractic care with advanced, non-invasive technology and personalized nutrition, he helps patients recover from injury, improve performance, and build lasting wellness naturally.
Recovery. Performance. Wellness. It’s more than a tagline—it’s the mission that guides every patient journey at Ledbetter Mind + Body Restoration.

Pregnancy is an incredible journey, but it also places unique stresses on the body. As a Webster Certified chiropractor, Dr. Josh uses gentle, specialized techniques to help improve pelvic balance, relieve pregnancy-related discomfort, and prepare the body for a healthier birth experience. After delivery, newborns can also benefit from a gentle chiropractic evaluation to address the physical stresses of birth and support healthy growth and development from the very beginning.
Children’s bodies are constantly growing, developing, and adapting. From birth through the teenage years, gentle chiropractic care can help support healthy posture, movement, nervous system function, and overall wellness. Whether it’s the physical demands of sports, heavy backpacks, falls, or everyday growth, Dr. Josh provides safe, family-focused care as a proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), helping children thrive through every stage of development.
Chiropractic care focuses on the health and function of the nervous system, which controls and coordinates every cell, tissue, and organ in the body. By gently addressing spinal misalignments (subluxations), chiropractic adjustments help restore proper communication between the brain and body so you can heal and function at your best.
Yes. Chiropractic care is widely recognized as safe and effective for individuals of all ages when performed by a licensed chiropractor. Techniques are always tailored to the person’s size, age, and health needs — especially for infants, children, and pregnant moms.
Care plans vary depending on your goals and health history. Some patients come for short-term relief, while others choose ongoing wellness care to support long-term nervous system function. Your chiropractor will discuss recommendations after your evaluation so you can make an informed decision.
We are a self-pay office and do not participate with Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance plans. This allows Dr. Josh to provide individualized, thoughtful care based on your specific needs — not insurance company limitations or pre-set treatment protocols. Our pricing is transparent and competitive with many insurance-based offices
Our office does not accept personal injury or car accident cases. We intentionally avoid litigation-based care so we can remain focused on what we do best — proactive wellness, nervous system health, and long-term functional improvement. If you’ve been involved in an accident, we’re happy to refer you to a trusted local chiropractor who is experienced in personal injury case management and can appropriately guide you through that process.
Birth is a physical event — even natural deliveries can place stress on a baby’s spine and developing nervous system. As children grow and begin to crawl, walk, and eventually run and play sports, small falls and minor injuries are simply part of the process. Because the nervous system coordinates growth, digestion, sleep, immune function, and behavior, parents often seek chiropractic care to support concerns such as colic and excessive crying, feeding or latching difficulties, ear infections, sleep challenges, constipation, immune resilience, and focus or behavioral regulation. Pediatric adjustments are extremely gentle and specific — often using no more pressure than you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato — and are always tailored to a child’s age, size, and comfort.
Chiropractic care is commonly sought for concerns such as neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, pregnancy-related discomfort, sports injuries, postural stress, and nervous system dysregulation. By improving spinal alignment and supporting healthy nervous system function, care often helps reduce pain, restore mobility, and enhance overall function. Beyond symptom relief, many families choose chiropractic care proactively to support long-term wellness, improve stress resilience, and promote optimal growth and development for every stage of life.
Most adjustments are not painful. Some patients may feel mild soreness (similar to starting a new workout), which typically resolves quickly. Pediatric adjustments are especially gentle and comfortable.
No. While many people first seek care for back or neck pain, chiropractic focuses on optimizing nervous system function — which influences digestion, sleep, immune function, focus, mood, and more.
Yes. Chiropractic care during pregnancy can help reduce low back pain, pelvic discomfort, and support proper pelvic alignment. Specialized techniques are used to ensure comfort and safety for both mom and baby.
Research continues to support chiropractic care for musculoskeletal pain, headaches, and pregnancy-related discomfort. Families also seek care based on clinical experience and a wellness-based approach that prioritizes nervous system regulation and whole-body health.
